Ref Gauge: USGS: Mulberry R. nr Mulberry
Correlation Factor: B+
Range: [10.0, 11.0, 13.0]
Notes: The correlation is OK if rain is widespread. This creek is small and near the gauge, so if the Mulberry is very low and rain is localized to the lower Mulbery area, a smaller spike can be a good sign. Of course, if rain falls on the upper Mulberry only, the gauge may be high but water in this creek may be low. Also, look for a sharp, high (more than 8.0 feet) spike on the Frog at Winfrey for a possible early warning if rain is widespread.
